Designing and building Minty, a Vinted/Depop-style resale app for the UAE, where no direct equivalent exists yet. Validated the idea with a 40-person survey before writing any code, then handled the end-to-end UX design in Figma and built the working app in Flutter and Firebase.

Onboarding is split into single-question screens with a progress bar, based on the idea that people commit more easily to a short, predictable path than an open-ended form.

Condition badges and verified-seller marks appear directly in the browse feed, not buried in item pages, since trust is the main thing standing between a browser and a buyer in secondhand shopping.

Buy Now and Add to Cart are separated deliberately. Most items here are one-of-one, so buyers who already know they want it shouldn’t be forced through a cart step.
CONCEPT — NOT YET BUILT
Early exploration of a full checkout flow using familiar payment patterns (Apple Pay, Google Pay) to reduce hesitation at the final step. This is a design direction, not a shipped feature yet.
The core loop is live: role-based accounts for individuals, stores, and creators, a browse feed, item pages, cart, checkout, and public seller profiles.
A few things I was deliberate about:
Trust first. Secondhand buying runs on trust, so condition badges, verified sellers, and reviews show up early, not buried in a menu.
Buy Now vs Add to Cart. Most items here are one of one, so I split these to cut friction for people who just want to grab something immediately.
Onboarding, one question at a time. Broke a single dense form into separate screens with a progress bar, so setup feels like a short, predictable path instead of paperwork.
Currently designing the next layer: a real checkout flow with express payment options, and a creator mode for independent designers to sell their own work. Next milestone is a pilot with a real UAE vintage store.
